It is in the Pompeian red of the « salle de bain » on the piano nobile of Palazzo Correnti that Massimiliano Pipolo presents for MDW 2025 / 5VIE an anthological and biographical
collection of ceramics and interior objects created for Fornace Ceramics.


To celebrate 10 years of life «together», Massimiliano has selected the most iconographic
pieces of the Fornace collections and of his artistic production following as a fil rouge the
concept of intimacy, understood above all as a « jardin secret », a private, interior place of the soul, known only to us.
A game of references to many other objects forgotten on the shelves of the archives and to
the forgotten intrinsic memories they carried with them was born.
From the amused conversation between these disparate artifacts, new and unexpected
combinations are born that are linked by their use and meaning to a very specific space and gesture of everyday life: the toilet.
...« dans la salle de bain »... is a collection of furnishing elements dedicated to the ritual of self-care.
Objects that transport us to a secret and intimate world, that define the concept of intimacy
also as a value of space, place, gesture, and... magical ritual.

MASSIMILIANO PIPOLO

PER FORNACE

Naples 1977. Lives and works in Milan.

In 2003 he graduated in Architecture in Paris at L’Ecole d’Architecture de Paris La Villette. From the same year
he developed the visual identity, architectural concepts and scenography for brands such as Maison Martin Margiela, Prada, Versace, Kenzo.

In 2015 he moved to Lisbon where he was selected for the degree course in ceramics of the Visual Art and Communication Centre of Lisbon (ARCO).

In 2016 he founded in Paris his brand, Fornace Ceramics, of which he is Founder and Artistic Director. From 2020 Massimiliano Pipolo becomes a supplier of ceramics for all the Maison Valentino stores in the world.

FORNACE CERAMICS

Fornace was conceived and founded in 2016 in Paris
as a high hand and handmade brand for interiors.
Specialized in ceramics but focused on whole Interiors, Fornace design and produce his own
collections as well as bespoke projects for private clients, retail and hospitality.

Since 2019 Massimliano moved Fornace in MILAN, opening also the CERAMIC LAB allowing a performing production site there.

Since participate at art exhibitions and fairs as MDW or ART DAYS and collaborate with galleries and curators for personal exhibitions of his work.

For Fornace Massimiliano create collections of limited series and uniques objects as well as following the direction of bespoke and made to measure projects.
